IRAN HAS BECOME A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH

In the past couple of days Iran hit several targets in occupied parts of Syria (ISIS), Iraq (Erbil, supposedly a Mossad HQ), and Pakistan (some other terrorist group).

One of the targets hit by Iran yesterday in Erbil. Supposedly a Mossad operations center.

That it was a Mossad operations center is quite possible. Erbil (capital of Kurdish Iraq) is 130 km from Iran and has a lot of autonomy from Baghdad. We know Mossad operates in Iran and so it would make sense they would have a base close to Iranian border.

The targets in Syria were 1200 km away, demonstrating Iran has the capability to hit pinpoint targets anywhere in Israel. A week ago they also seized their stolen ship back from the US in international waters.

Iran has definitely started to flex its regional muscle. According to some Ukrainian numbers I’ve seen, half of missiles/drones Russia launched against Ukraine were Iranian, or at least Iranian tech, namely Shaheds. They of course are a lot less lethal than Kalibrs, Iskanders or Kinzhals, but are also cheaper and so can be deployed in numbers to overwhelm AA. Important part of any arsenal, including big powers’. Probably The Game Changer in Ukraine vs 5 “Game Changers” NATO sent.

There is also little doubt they have been and are supporting the Houthis and Hamas and even Assad in Syria to an extent, being in proxy wars against Israel now, as well as US and UK, and previously with Saudi Arabia and UAE. I would not be surprised if they pretty much have a nuclear missile at this point. Perhaps only a couple, untested, but I think after Trump pulled out of the deal Iran Nuclear Deal they gave up on trying to reason.

All of it quite amazing for a country that has been sanctioned and isolated so much for so long. Definitely a regional force to be reckoned with. Some say “imagine what Iran could do if they weren’t sanctioned”? Maybe. But maybe sanctions against formidable states like Russia, China and Iran actually have a counter-effect.
